Brian Sutherland17 Nov - 19:18

Their smiles say it all!

This morning, the Cramond County Girls U10s team secured their first league win of the season, triumphing against a spirited local side. It was a performance that showed just how far this young team has come, and it was an unforgettable moment for players, coaches, and supporters.
Having joined the league this year as a new and developing squad, it’s been a challenging journey. Competing against older and more experienced teams has tested the girls week in and week out, but they have rarely wavered in their determination and positivity. Despite tough results along the way, their team spirit has remained rock solid and today, it all came together beautifully.
From the beginning to the end, the girls played with heart, skill, and unity. Their hard work in training was evident as they put into practice everything they’ve learned, demonstrating teamwork, determination, and resilience. Every player gave their all, and the joy on their faces with each goal scored was amazing to see.
This victory isn’t just about the scoreline, it’s about the journey. Up until today, the girls had only managed two goals across the season, but to see them find the back of the net six times in one game shows just how far they’ve come. The celebrations that followed were a testament to the incredible bond this team shares and the wonderful community that supports them.
A huge thanks to the coaches for their dedication and guidance, and to the families who have stood by the team throughout the season. Your cheers, encouragement, and unwavering support mean the world.
Most of all, congratulations to the girls for their resilience, effort, and belief. You’ve shown us all what can be achieved through hard work and a never-give-up attitude.
Here’s to many more moments like today—because this is just the beginning!
